Covers an area of southern British Central Africa extending approximately 200 miles northwards and 100 miles eastwards from the confluence of the Shire and Ruo rivers at Chiromo. Portrays hydrology, relief by hachures, form lines and spot heights, roads and tracks, railways, telegraphs, settlements, place names, and the boundary with Portuguese East Africa, across which detail is generally reduced; also includes topographical and sheet compilation notes.Map compiled 'by connecting a series of road traverses', some of which are filed at BCA/16, BCA/17 & BCA/18.
